Rottnest Festival
Rottnest Island off the coast of Fremantle is a favourite day trip for locals and tourists alike, but in March the island is host to a four-day family festival with a unique atmosphere and program including activities as varied as skydiving, dancing and theatre through to rock concerts and beach parties. The Artrage Festival
Northbridge, in Perth’s entertainment precinct, plays host to the Artrage Festival in September and October each year. This festival features a wide program of alternative arts festival comes alive with theatre, dance, music, visual arts, street events, comedy and cabaret.
Australia Day Skyworks
Australia Day plays host to a huge fireworks display on the Swan River reflecting on the glass, metal an concrete of Perth’s skyscrapers

Held in January and February each year the fantastic Perth International Arts Festival hosts a variety of entertainment including drama, music, dance and film events
Fremantle Sardine Festival
One of the more unusual celebrations, this one celebrating the freshly caught Fremantle Sardine. This family festival is held every year in mid-January.
