Australian Aviation Heritage Centre
The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre is located on the grounds of Darwin’s airport. Situated in a huge hangar are various aircraft from Australian built planes up to the huge B 52 bomber, one of only two on display outside the USA. Darwin played a major role in World War 2 and many historical artefacts are displayed from this period.

Darwin Crocodile Farm
Darwin Crocodile Farm is a farm where crocs are bred to be transformed into handbags, shoes and croc burgers. The farm has lots of billabongs set up where you get a close look at these ancient creatures prior to buying part of one of their friends in the gift shop.

East Point Military Museum
East Point Military Museum is located in an old World War 2 bunker at the East Point Reserve, The museum features much history on the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese.
Mindil Beach Markets
Situated next to the Skycity Casino, the Mindil Beach Market operates on Thursday and Sunday evenings from the last week in April until the end of October. There are over 260 stalls at the market featuring everything from Aboriginal paintings, didgeridoos, art and craft. There are also plenty of foods stalls with flavours from all around the world and Australia. Popular local delicacy’s include croc, yabbies or even roadkill.

Aquascene
Fish are abundant in Darwin’s clear waters and at Aquascene you can hand feed by the hundreds. Aquacene is located at Doctor’s Gully, a short walk from the CBD. Feeding times are dependent on the tides, so opening hours vary daily.

Crocodylus Park
Located near the airport, Crocodylus Park features a range of crocs from 30 cm hatchlings to huge crocs that almost reach 5 metres in length.
