Bondi

Bondi Beach

Mention Australian Beaches anywhere in the world and the beach every one will mention is Bondi, the quintessential Australian Beach.

Bondi Beach is an Australian icon and is a favourite for locals, tourists and backpackers. Bondi’s wide, sandy shores are on Sydney’s southern peninsula and face the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. The sandy surf beach is visited by thousands on a hot day to soak up the sun.

Bondi’s beach is just over a kilometre long of white sand and is patrolled by the world’s oldest life-saving club.

The promenade along the waterfront is a fantastic way to explore Bondi Beach. There is some great dining to be had on Campbell Parade, whether it is a snack or a gourmet meal.

One highlight is the saltwater pool in the rocks.

Other landmarks include Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Hotel, The Hakoah club and the scenic walkway down south to Tamarama beach.
