Chinatown Sydney

The southern tip of the city between the Central railway station and Darling Harbour is home to China Town.  Sydney’s China Town is Australia’s largest China Town that is a rich mix of Asian customs, restaurants and a shopping experience like no other with much to see and do in the district.

China Town is home to hundreds of Asian restaurants, shops and businesses selling everything to the latest electronic technology to ancient herbal medicines.

Paddy’s Market is one of the favourite destinations for visitors, here you can buy just about anything and all at great prices. Beside Paddy’s Market, a light rail service links China Town with Darling Harbour and the City.

On the southern edge of Darling Harbour there is a beautiful Chinese Garden which is well worth a look.  China Town is also home to the Sydney Entertainment Centre which hosts many of the big concerts to tour Sydney, Elton John, Kiss, Prince, Neil Diamond are just a few of the big acts to play there.

Dim Sum and Yum Cha are a must for visitors, with some of the best Asian food on offer. Many restaurants have outdoor eating areas where you can enjoy Sydney’s fantastic weather whist dining.
